Our goal with She’s in the Game is to inspire and encourage younger girls to get involved in sport by sharing relatable stories and highlighting amazing role models in the game.
We want to give players a platform to share their journeys, express their opinions, and connect with fans on a more personal level.
Most importantly, we want to show that we’re more than just athletes—we’re people with our own experiences, challenges, and passions, just like you.

Maitlan Brown is an Australian cricketer who prides herself on competing fiercely with a grin on her face in her role as a fast bowling all-rounder. Maitlan represents her home state of New South Wales in the Women's National Cricket League, the Sydney Sixers in the Women's Big Bash League. She has also played in international leagues around the world including the Hundred competition, the UK's premier domestic league and the New Zealand Super Smash.
Outside of cricket Maitlan pursues creativity. Having completed an industrial design degree her creative exploits away from the field allow her to explore and express passions away from the game. They give her a sense of both perspective and gratitude with respect to what it means to be a professional athlete within the exciting and ever-developing landscape that is Women's sport.

Hannah Darlington is an Australian Cricketer who brings great pride and leadership to the teams and culture she represents. In her time representing the New South Wales Breakers and Sydney Thunder, Hannah became the youngest captain in Australian domestic cricket history being only 19 when she took on the honours. Following this Hannah made her debut for Australia in 2021, becoming the 3rd indigenous woman to do so.Among other things, Hannah has also started working as a casual facilitator with Burn Bright, the organisation that works with youth in schools, helping to express the connection and leadership attributes of the next generation whilst teaching a healthy work-life balance.

Alyssa Healy
Alyssa Healy, nicknamed "Midge," is the current Australian women’s captain. A wicketkeeper-batter known for her explosive batting and sharp skills behind the stumps, she has been a key figure in Australia’s dominance on the international stage since her debut in 2010. From her record-breaking performances in T20 World Cups, including a standout 75 in the 2020 final at the MCG, to being named ICC T20I Player of the Year in 2018, Alyssa has cemented herself as one of the game’s greats. With a rich cricketing lineage and leadership experience, Alyssa continues to inspire as both a player and a leader.
Georgia Adams
Georgia Adams is a talented all-rounder in English cricket, known for her leadership and consistency on the field. As the captain of the Southern Vipers, she has played a key role in their success, including winning multiple Rachael Heyhoe Flint Trophy titles. Georgia is a versatile player, excelling with both bat and ball, and has been a consistent performer in domestic competitions.
Lauren Cheatle
Lauren Cheatle is a talented left-arm fast bowler from New South Wales who has represented Australia in both T20 and ODI formats. Known for her swing and ability to trouble batters early, she made her international debut in 2016 at just 17 years old. Despite facing challenges with injuries throughout her career, Lauren has remained a standout player in domestic cricket, representing the NSW Breakers and the Sydney Sixers in the WBBL. Her resilience and skill continue to make her a key player and an inspiring figure in Australian cricket.
Melie Kerr
Melie Kerr is a talented all-rounder from New Zealand, renowned for her leg-spin bowling and impressive batting ability. She burst onto the scene as a teenager, making headlines in 2018 when she scored a record-breaking 232 not out in an ODI, the highest individual score in women's cricket history, and took 5 wickets in the same match. Representing the White Ferns, she’s been a pivotal player across all formats, combining skill and consistency with both bat and ball. Amelia also plays in domestic leagues worldwide, showcasing her talent in competitions like the WBBL and The Hundred. Off the field, she’s known for her candidness about mental health, becoming an advocate for well-being in sport.
Phoebe Litchfield
Phoebe Litchfield is one of Australia’s most exciting young cricket talents, known for her poise and maturity well beyond her years. A left-handed batter, she burst onto the scene as a teenager with the Sydney Thunder in the WBBL, impressing with her ability to play innovative and fearless shots. Growing up in Orange, New South Wales, Phoebe balanced school with professional cricket and quickly became a fan favorite. With a bright future ahead, she continues to showcase her skills on both domestic and international stages as a rising star in women’s cricket.
